Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?
We offer a variety of services related to your pool and surrounding area including: maintenance, cleaning, repairs, renovations, installations, openings, closings, and upgrades. See our "Services" page for more in depth information on each type of service we offer.
How often does my pool need to be cleaned?
To keep your pool clear, safe to swim in, and hygienic, it is recommended by many to clean your pool at least once a week. We suggest opting for our weekly or twice weekly service to keep your pool (and you) happy and healthy!
How can I reduce debris in my pool?
During the summer months, maintaining surrounding landscaping can help reduce dirt and debris from your pool. During off season months, we recommend winterizing your pool and covering it.
After opening, how do I know when my pool is swim-ready?
Your pool will not be ready or generally safe to swim in until the following steps have all been completed: the cover has been removed, the pool has been cleaned, the water has been tested and re-balanced, and all equipment is properly working. If you're unsure whether all of these steps have been taken, feel free to reach out to confirm.
Why does the water in my pool turn green?
Green pool water is usually a sign of algae, unbalanced water chemistry, and/or water filtration issues. If your pool turns green, reach out as soon as possible so we can fix the problem in a timely manner. We do not recommend swimming while your pool is green.
How can I make my pool safer for my children and pets?
Besides keeping children and pets under supervision while they are in your pool's space, we recommend installing pool safety fences or covers as an extra precautionary measure. We currently offer these installations.
Why should I use pool professionals and a pool service company?
Professionals can ensure proper chemical balance, provide thorough cleanings, and address repairs efficiently, which can save you time and prevent long-term issues. Basic maintenance can often be handled by homeowners, but complex issues or regular thorough cleanings may benefit from professional services.
How can I make my pool more sustainable & environmentally friendly?
To make your pool more sustainable, you can install energy-efficient equipment like variable-speed pumps, use solar heating, and reduce water waste by covering the pool when not in use. Additionally, opt for eco-friendly chemicals and LED lighting to further minimize your environmental impact.
